  6. It was a moon lit night I was in my garden and could see the black hairs on the flower stem glistening. I awoke remembering that my collection are sitting in garage not my garden (a two day holiday from the rain). Upon checking no flowers..... None of my trich's have ever flowered... I still love them the same would just have liked it to be real.

    Small Plastic Cylinder Uses

I use stones at the bottom of my cactus to allow for water drainage. If these were bound together and some shade cloth put over the top (to stop the soil clogging the holes) they would be an ultra impressive water extraction system. Otherwise cheap seedling sleeves for smaller items.

Hey Myco Is that due to the spines? I had a supposed pach sold to me with smaller but similar spines, would this have been mislabeled?

Looks like a pach to me. Lucky find, do you mind if I ask how much they sold it for? Only find column trich's at mine.

    Trichocereus seed giveaway :)

    Awesome work, thanks heaps!
  20. LOL QLD... Super Cool compared to da West Side The only place more hardcore than WA is an little island off the coast which is being used as the basis for Australia Largest LNG Plant. They inspect every zip, pocket and shoe. Then test the scrapings for plant, seed and other matter.

    Best Soil for Lophs

Thanks to M S Smith for the original post: http://xerophilia.ro/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/The-Stone-Eaters.pdf Best read for understanding these beasties Soiless mixes are the way I have gone. If you live in the east scoria, river sand and some coir seems like a nice simple mix.
