Quick question for the folks here that are experienced with Acacia cultivation. At what stage of growth would you say is optimal to transplant from pot to the earth? I would imagine there is a point where it has been in too long and may suffer as a result?

The ones I grow seem to handle being pretty root bound, I leave them in forestry tubes until they are like 500mm sometimes, roots are usually pretty dense when I transplant- just remember to keep water up to them if in small pots. And make sure no roots grow through the pot into the ground cause if you sever the tap root at all it will most likely die..... Transplant when the plant is somewhat dormant, i.e. autumn/winter for the trees I grow.

I have been transplanting tubes into like 5litre pots before going into the ground.

I'm not super experienced with acacia cultivation but have found this works for me anyways :-)

Hi T, just a question if you see this. When browsing on a mobile, when you clicked a thread it used to take you to the most recent post if you'd already viewed the thread, now it always takes you to the original post and you have to click forward. First world web probs I know.. But is this a setting and can it be clicked?! :) thanks

Hey dude, dunno if you still having this issue, however if on your mobile click the link that says how long ago the post was made and it will take you to the latest entry in that thread
