Hey cubism,, I honestly don't know mate. I put in 10 seeds, and left 10 seeds for later,, methods from no scaring and hot water soaking to light scarification and cold water soak, to heavy scaring and cold water soak. Some in soil and others in sphagnum moss. I just jumped in and had a go. Defly not as easy as all the other acacias I've done. Still tho, it's only been 2 weeks since sown. Other acacia heads have said they had them come up after months. I'll probably leave the rest til October or something.

I'll add my triple purples to the post. Seed acquired from another member on here. Those triple yellow seeds you sent me Bullit, I've got 2 germinated at different times. Will post them when in flower. Cheers mate.

My first phleb seedlings. Heavily scarified, soaked in cold water til swollen, then placed in sphagnum moss on top of native potting mix with perlite. Situated in greenhouse. Others are still to germinate.

My thinking was exactly the same as yours Zed. Allow them to sprout on plain sand and as their roots develop they have some nutrients to take up with the soil mix underneath before I start to open the lid and harden them off. I found some doubled the growth rate compared to those only in sand.

^^ I gave that idea a go with a cupl takeaway teks. Found it worked quite well compared to just sand. It's how I'm doing all my germinations now. Look forward to your results Zed.

Off white is close to grey. If it's not white I'm sure you don't have what you want.

Cobweb mould is off white if I'm right,, mycelium is nice n white. Can u post a pic?
