    Everybody read this!!!!!

I am happy with any date. Regarding the place. I am happy with the botanical gardens but if it was to be any other site not to the west of Brisbane I would be happy to pick up some people from the botanical gardens. A closer pick up spot could be arranged depending upon the chosen site. I would be coming from close to Ipswich along mogil road swinging unto the Western Highway close to Indoorooplilly

Be carefull with pests. A few years ago I had a plant which was going along well. After flowering the whole thing almost dissapeared overnight with something eating it.

    Cacti doping

Plants use Carbon Dioxide and give off oxygen as a by product. I have seen articles which suggest that you can increase the growth rate of certain plants by increasing the available CO 2 .

    F1 11's Today

Anybody in Brisbane or Ipswich see the F1 11's flanking the passenger jet this morning. Expected to hear that we are at high terrorist alert but no mention of it in the TV. Saw two F1 11's flying right behind the wings of a passenger jet today. I swear they looked about two meters behind the wings. I am near Ipswich and not normally under a flight path

    F1 11's Today

Refuelling two at a time would fit the bill fairly well apart from how low they were flying

    F1 11's Today

Don't think it was refuelling as they were all in a very tight formation. Just thought at the time that it would be too dangerous to be so close to a passenger jet for just practice but I guess it could have been empty. If anything happens and this becomes standard practice then the people who live under flight paths are not going to be happy. The noise of the three planes was amazing.

Have to agree that they are not active. Shame found a field full of them where I don't have to tresspass.

    Peyote seedpod

I haven't tried to hand pollinate this year but have done in the past. Although I am sure that I have had seeds produced without hand pollination. This year I have had many flowers but no fruit set. I will definately try hand pollination from now on. When they have produced seeds I got around 5 seeds per fruit

    Peyote seedpod

What is the average time from flowering to forming seedpods. This year my Loph had flowered a number of times but I have yet to see a seed pod forming.
