dchiw you get to the self serve checkout and cant get the plastic bags open

I have always had this problem too; we must have dry hands. What I've learnt to do is make sure there is always something cold/wet in my basket. Just touch a head of lettuce or a cold carton of milk, and there'll be enough moisture on your hands to stick to the bag and separate the two sides.

Why has nobody bothered listening and commenting?

I mean, pretty fuckin good for a guy with an actual job (unless that changed)

Thanks man. I really appreciate it. It took me quite a while to get to where I was starting to be confident that I was getting a handle on all the various skills required. I've probably been at it for about 20 years now. The hardest part is completing a track. It's really easy to make a cool beat and put a baseline and whatnot over it, but turning it into a whole track that evolves in a way that can keep a listener interested requires perseverance.

  3.

    - Powder is bunk.

I used nutmeg several times, and I found powder to be quite effective, and easier to ingest large quantities of. I would swirl a bag (I think 25g) around in a glass of water and gulp it down. Definitely gave a good stoning feeling for at least a day. I was concerned about the reported deaths, even if the circumstances seemed dubious, so I only used it a few times and then stopped; I just didn't want to risk it when there seemed to be such little research into it.

  4. Is this legal in Australia? I'm not sure if the ban only relates to one species or not. You're from Europe, so I'm approving the post without looking into it further, but any Australians thinking of taking you up on the offer will need to make sure they are not breaking the law.

No yeti, you have great taste in games if you want this. Maybe in a few years we will have goat simulator in virtual reality!

There is a VR goat game. It's called Mountain Goat Mountain. It's pretty fun, but very simple.

With the awesome VR support, I've been playing a lot of Dirt Rally lately. I've enjoyed many of the games for the Rift, but most of them don't have much replayability. The Climb is one example. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is another good one.

I still love my FPS games on a screen though, so I've been playing a shitload of Black Ops 3 (and getting decent at it), and I'll probably get Battlefield 1 when it comes out.

  6. I recently quit all forms of nicotine, and I have some pipe tobacco left over. So, rather than throw it in the bin, I thought someone here might appreciate it.

    What I have is:

A very small amount of Pal O' Mine (enough for a medium bowl)

A few grams of rum-flavoured #4 Rope. This stuff is great in a pipe, but I'd actually suggest chewing with a small amount of bicarb soda.

A few grams of 1792 flake,

    and

A few grams of Commonwealth Mixture.

Considering there isn't much of each of them, I'll just give them all to one person. So, if you want them, just post here so others know it's gone, and then PM me with your postal address.

    Cheers

  7. Dchiw you are plunging a coffee, a stubborn coffee who doesnt seem to want to be plunged, when suddenly hot coffee and bean fragment come shooting out at high speed to splash into your eye as well as all over ye face and the bench.

    ..how do i even??

I did that with my presso. Ground the coffee too fine, and was putting all my bodyweight on the levers, trying to push the water through, when the plastic cylinder broke and sprayed boiling water all over my chest and face :BANGHEAD2:

  8. Cheap inverters typically output a 'modified' sine wave. This usually results in an audible hum in things like guitar amps. With lights you probably won't notice a difference.

I lived on solar power for a couple of years and used 3 different inverters, including one of the cheapo ones from from Jaycar, and a ~$1000 pure sine wave inverter. It definitely makes a difference for things like television and guitar amps.

  9. Thanks guys. I'm still around. I check out the forums every day if I can. I just rarely post because I'm usually pretty busy and wouldn't have much to contribute that isn't just shit-posting. Unfortunately, no trippy lacework. I've got way too many hobbies, and everything yarn related is so time consuming compared to my other hobbies.

  10. should i delete the post?

    I missed that one

You can leave it if you want. I just wanted to step in early because discussion can get out of hand quickly (especially with newer member who may not be aware of the rules) and make it really difficult to moderate later on. I think the point has been made now.

  11. Ah about smoking aya'? Is that illegal? I'm in the US, pretty sure that is legal here.

Unless you're extremely clear about your location in your post or your "climate or location" field (and preferably in both), your post will be treated as though you are in Australia.

It's B. caapi, harmine and such, not DMT containing plants.

You also mentioned DMT containing plants.

  12. New Vegas didn't really grab me either - not sure why exactly, but it just wasn't as fun as F3. Too much social networking, too many railroads - don't we have enough of that crap in real life? I felt that they lost sight of the true purpose of Fallout: hitting giant scorpions with sledgehammers.

I'm too jaded now to give F3 a go

I'd possibly take a look if/when they make a new one. But I'm not entirely sure the whole post-apolcalyptic thing does it for me. I'm looking forward to TW3, because TW2 would have been better than skyrim if it was a big, open world, and that looks like what TW3 is going to be. Also psyched for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which looks cool for its non-fantasy medieval setting; "dungeons and no dragons" as the lead dev (Vavra) describes it.

  13. ...Fallout 3...

I thought I'd love Fallout, for the same reasons as you. I spent ages trying to decide between fallout 3 and new vegas. I bought NV, but I just couldn't get into it. I actually put quite a few hours into it too, but it just doesn't grab me. Far Cry 4 is much more what I was expecting from fallout NV in terms of enjoyment.

Another game to play if you like skyrim is Kingdoms of Amalur. In a lot of ways it's not as good as skyrim, but it's got really fun combat and a fairly big world with nice aesthetics. It's also very cheap, and you can play free for 48 hours before you buy it if you're on PC.

  14. How far did u get in skyrim Zac? Sad I'm about 5 or so years to late for any skyrim convo. I'm fucking hooked.

    It's such a beautiful game I reckon.

I finished the main quest and had done plenty of side quests along the way. I tried to keep playing after I finished the main quest but got pretty bored after a while. It was epic while the fun lasted though.
