Pretty sure those problems will be fixed. The decision to make substantial software updates like those are usually made outside the influence of the forum owners. They can either update and try to get everything working again or risk having an insecure forum software. Which is not an option because many hosters will throw you out or annoy the shit out of you if you have outdated scripts and software.
Some of the functions look really nice. The NOTIFY ME OF UPDATES thing that you can slide on and off is neat and the overall software interface does look improved too. I am borderline OCD and hate changes ( and I really mean that), but I feel like the whole thing probably comes with some neat new functions too. The look and the color theme WILL change. And the rest...I am sure T will either get it working of remove plugins that are no longer working. Stuff like the galleries and other plugins sometimes need to be tweaked to be compatible. These days, it´s really not an option to update or not. There are countless bots that try to use zero day exploits and I always have to upgrade my websites instantly if there´s an update available or not.
The whole script thingy looks great to me. The loading time is a lot faster and I feel like the website runs a bit faster overall. And that´s a key factor for Google too.
Torsten, does this come with SEO plugins?

EG´s Trichocereus Seedlist - For sale or trade
Hi guys, check out my seed list and wholesale prices:
The standard price for one bag is 3,00 Euros and the shipping costs are 3,45 Euros as a registered letter. All of them come from commercial nurseries or private gardens in Peru or Bolivia, not from nature. Worldwide shipping and long-time experience with shipping seeds all across the globe. Always open for trades. If you have something I might like, please send me a pm or get in touch with me through [email protected]
Trichocereus pachanoi / Peruvianus Intermediate (fresh 2015 seeds with excellent viability. Very similar to the spiny plants from Chavin)
Trichocereus tulhuayacensis (fresh seeds. Extremely rare! This is the only non-white flowering San Pedro type. The plant comes from Huachac). Not sure about the color of the flower though and I explicitely list it as potentially white flowering. This is KK337 and Knize differentiated between KK337 var. rubriflora and KK337.
Trichocereus tunariensis (Cochabamba)
Trichocereus tarapacana / Soehrensia taracapana
Trichocereus puquiensis from Puquio. I do not know much about this type yet. What I do know is that this is probably a five ribbed version from Puquio that´s somewhere between Tr. cuzcoensis and Tr. peruvianus. .
Trichocereus poco / Trichocereus Tarijensis
Trichocereus narvaezensis
Trichocereus bridgesii Australian Hybrid Seed (High quality seeds)
Trichocereus cordobensis (This is a rare type of Tr. scopulicola that´s not the typical FR991 Scop that is so common. Very limited number of seeds)
Trichocereus peruvianus Matucana
This is a beautiful dark blue Peruvianus from Matucana, similar to the types called Rosei 1 and Rosei 2 or ICARO DNA. Non-cuzcoensis and one of the best plants I´ve seen so far.
Trichocereus peruvianus - Rio Lurin / Lurin
Trichocereus peruvianus or cuzcoensis Huancavelica
Massive Trichocereus from the Huancavelica region.
Trichocereus tarmaensis (2 Euro / 60 seeds. Priced to sell because mediocre viability)
Long-spined Trichocereus from the cuzco group.
Trichocereus knuthianus from North Peru (2 Euro / 60 seeds. Priced to sell because mediocre viability)
Trichocereus tacaquirensis
Rare Trichocereus from the Taquimbalensis group, but more rare and with a different spination that can only bee seen on adult plants. Young plants look a lot like Tr. taquimbalensis.
Trichocereus andalgalensis x Tr. Grandiflorus Crassicaulis
Trichocereus herzogiana
This is a relative of Tr. tarijensis and is extremely rare! Fresh seeds!
Trichocereus huascha from Catamarca
Fresh seeds from 2015!
Trichocereus schickendantzii Hybrid from Argentina
Fresh seeds from 2015!
Trichocereus Mix
Trichocereus seed mix consisting of seed types that were accidentially mixed or which we were not able to ID because we didnt have a pic of the mother plant. A lot of seeds from the San Pedro group.
Trichocereus spachianus
Golden torch, fresh 2015 seeds! Great grafting stock!
Matucana Madisonorium
Trichocereus Peppermint Dreams x Grandiflorus Crassicaulis
Flower hybrid from Sacred Succulents.
Trichocereus pachanoi x peruvianus
Cross between Trichocereus pachanoi and Trichocereus peruvianus. Not sure if this is PC or not.
Trichocereus camarguensis KK1413
Trichocereus camarguensis var. nana KK1414
This is a smaller variety of Trichocereus camarguensis. Very rare.

Thanks for the seeds EG. I had a bit of a late start due to delivery complications, but here's my biggest, "Lurin Vale"
image.jpegimage.jpeg
And a photo 4 days after the last one... This guy is growing fast! Note the very top areoles/spines.

OK so first off my apologies for the bad formating and pics, I'm doing everything off my phone. Every pic was taken a few short minutes before night time so lighting isn't the greatest. All of now been regrafted to some pc pach rootstock.
So first up are the matucanas 20160311_174757_resized.jpg20160311_174803_resized.jpg20160311_174740_resized.jpg20160311_174744_resized.jpg20160311_174725_resized.jpg20160311_174730_resized.jpg
Next is of the Lurin Valley 20160311_174816_resized.jpg20160311_174820_resized.jpg
My Knuthianus is still stalled but hopefully spring brings him to life.
I also enjoyed all the other pics with status updates! Thanks to everyone who participated. Also thanks to Conv3rge because those pics were amazing!

Hi guys, the competition is over and Change´s posting got the most likes. Thank you all for your photos and for being part of this competition. I´d love to see more updates of those plants in the future. Though the official competition is over, I hope the thread goes on. I will probably rename this thread into EG Competion and grafts thread or some funky stuff like this. I will start a new giveaway soon. Everyone who messaged me about seeds, please get in touch with me next time I start a giveaway.
Change, feel free to send me your address and claim your prize. :-D bye EG

Can´t wait! There are some truly amazing types on that list. You´re doing god´s work, Olive.

Hey Sapla, definitely interested. I´ll send you my seed list! Mostly cactus, but I also have a bunch of non-cactus seeds.
-
Yes, could be fungal or viral. Can you rule out sun burn? But it´s actually pretty typical for fungal infections to start down there.
-
Yes, Trichocereus bridgesii! Nice plant!

Hey Olive, very interested. I´ll send you my seed list later today and I am waiting for some new seeds too. Happy to trade.

Hey guys, so I´d propose we end the competition now. I made a posting on Facebook to make sure we get some voters that will vote by liking the postings. Posts without images are out of competition. I personally voted every post with pics, which makes me out of the whole thing as well. I have a few pics that I really like and I thank everyone who participated. I´d love to see more pics in the future. Besides everyone who is in the competition is invited to post their final updates now. Dont wait too long because some people might miss them and I dont want it to become unfair.

Pinegap, pretty sure those are Trichocereus riomizquensis. Same as the PC, which is one too. The whole flower and plant is closer to Tr. scopulicola than it is to the Peruvian Pachanois.
-
um... my graft entry has grown since the last photo. If we are delaying the deadline, could I re-submit when everyone else does to be fair? Cheers
Yes, absolutely. I´ll have a close look at the entries and will make a decision about this within the next week. It´s possible we let it run 2-3 months longer but I want everything to stay fair and I´ll only do that if it really makes sense. So gimme a day or two to check everything and I´ll post an update here. Everyone is invited to post an update until then. If Conv3rge´s plant has grown since the pic, he´s certainly allowed to post a new update.

Bridge. Eg is expert.
Zelly is one too. Just let it grow for a while and post some more pics once it´s bigger. I am sure it´s a bridgesii but some plants can look tricky. Give it some time....in a year you´ll be able to say more about the ID.

No, with that radial spine, the low rib count and the ribe shape all other potantial candidates are out the question. And the skin is typically for a dehydrated Bridgesii skin too. A normal pic will help to verify it but I really have no doubts here. The only alternative is Tr. cuzcoensis and that one differs substantially from what you have there.

Hey Nut, agree that it´s a bad pic. It´s a bridgesii!

Hey guys, this competition is finished now. Please post your final updates in the next day or two. Thanks a lot to Conv3rge for this really cool update! With that said; I´d love to see more pics or updates outside of the competition later on! I´ll have a look at the rules and we´ll pick a winner then. bye Eg

Hey B, made a posting in the group and will make contact in case someone is able to help. bye EG

How long after release will you offer the pdf ebook? I bought the book but am curious.
Not sure when, but it will definitely be after the printed edition is out. There are some people who bought a few copies for their shops and I dont want to influence the physical book sales too much with the digital edition. There definitely will be a digital edition and I am really happy about bringing it. But it´ll take some time.

Ha Ha, that´s the spirit!

Happy Odin´s Day, mate!

Hey Horsey, we´ll look into it and clean up the thread or start a new one. With that said, it´s always best to report a problematic posting because the Mods will get an email and clean up the thread a lot faster. bye Eg

Those are all very interesting. The first one is a cereus. The second one a Peruvianus. The other ones need to be examined more closely. I love them all. The fourth reminds me of some of the spinier versions of Tr. riomizquensis. Great plants!

Looks amazing, Pinegap. Fantastic cross and it will be fun to see if there are any differences between the seedlings you´ll grow from these three fruits.

Donating for SAB costs

Paypal also charges for the conversion. I recently had a situation when they charged me 20 bucks just for converting the the total into another currency. And when we chose to use the credit card to convert it, it cost substantially less.
I donated and I could directly donate in AU Dollar.
