Unknown echinopsis and badass succulent
Chef's Foreskin replied to Belching's question in Cactus & Succulent Identification
What would cause such intense pupping of a plant at that age? Stress? -

That is a very gracious offer WhiteWind, but I would feel guilty taking something for nothing and I cannot send anything in return as yet because I am way way away from home at the moment and will be for maybe a month or so Besides online vendor's where is a decent place to find heirloom seeds these days? Or is an online thing mainly. I found this awsome tomato seed site, I have never seen soo many different types of tomato

I'm glad I found a place like this Jwerta because where I am living you can almost see "ordinary" peoples eyes glaze over when I get a decent ramble happening as if "Is he STILL talking about bloody cacti" hehe I will post some pics when I get back to NSW as I am away at the moment. Would love to see some pics of your collection one day Jwerta. RF

Opuntia is the bomb for grafting Trichos
Chef's Foreskin replied to Halcyon Daze's topic in Cacti & Succulents
They are some lovely plants you have there! I haven't become game enough yet to attempt grafting but just a quick question.. Is it harder to align the rings on an Opuntia because it is not circular? Like I said I haven't tried yet so excuse my naievity RF -
Wholey crap that is a veery impressive collection you have sir! What species is the 9th one from the bottom in the last set of pics!? I dont know the name of it but I have one that looks almost identical but is a spiral form..? Kudo's to you mate! RF

That's such a tidy looking garden! So neat and organised Plus that bottom picture is a cool looking cactus. I will be planning something like this in the future but I keep most of my babies in pots so I can control most things but thats just my OCD hehe Anywho good job! RF
