I have found also .22 magnum rifles most effective at preventing cats from re offending. Just make sure that when they underneith your car that the tyre is not behind the cat.

Buy a standardized rose bush from a local nursery. Make sure it's locally produced. And cut the graft off and use the 3 ft stem to bud to. The whole straight bit is all rootstock the graft is budded on the top.

I've seen tbmc revert to tbm's. But not to normal growth. The only crest I have owned long enough to comment on is the standard Peru crest in Australia and it arrived with a root pup coming from the roots. And it is a three way crest as opposed to the normal flat crest. So seems to be a very stable crest. A few of my seedling crest grafts reverted to columnar growth, semi monstrose and some back again to crest or monstrose. My chemsha crest I have taken three grafts off. First two were columnar pups. Not reverted growth. And both have grown quite large and not reverted. And showing zero signs of mutations. The other I took from an already crested section. But it is too cold now and has not grown a lot to comment.

The razor blades would be the least harmful part if u just surround your collection in a fence of top heavy psycho0. Mine is pushing out spines about 15cm long at the moment. No need to arm them, they arm themselves. Surround your patch with psycho0. I can't even imagine how bad it would hurt to get a spine in several inches. Ouch and potentially quite dangerous. Any1 heard of people loosing eyes or having internal organs punctured? I could certainly imagine they are capable.^fck man you cant go booby trapping shit viet cong style...lol
and thats coming from a bloke that would give them a big stick.

Ok, maybe it's not thrips. It is however cured by a dusting of sulfur. Mine do it too occasionally. Sulphur always works.

Piss on them, regularly. Very regularly. Ur citrus trees will get jealous. But the cacti grow well. Rock dust also. That's just great for everything in general.

I think a crest with no areoles would be fine. It still has a growing tip which can throw out more areoles at any time. And yes, no humidity dome, just a shady humid place is where I put mine too. Just avoid dry, windy places, etc
I find that if pressure is taken off too early they can lift occasionally. They still survive, but don't look as appealing and leave a gap for fungal infections to hide. But yeah, with the stocking. Time is no issue. The pressure is very evenly distributed also.

And then hopefully you'll be kind enough to trade or sell me a few seed. if there were any spare.
Sorry I have no tips on solid id. Aren't they mini? And never get big? Or doesn't that apply via grafting?

Pantyhose, stocking, tights even. Cut them into strips. Hold either side pull down evenly on either side of graft and hook into spines. The spines hold the stocking tight. The elasticity in the stocking keeps tension on the graft even if it shrinks or the stock does. The sheer stockings allow light and air exchange through to the scion below. Place in humid area for a week, move to less humid area for a week and remove. Done. I remove a lot of my stockings after just 10 days. And I expect 100% take rate when working with healthy stock and scion.

And yes they flower repeatedly throughout the growing season. Fruit can take quite a while. Some seem sterile while others fertile. Even from same seed batches. I have others that just do not flower. At all. Like they are 7 years old and no flowers on any of the pups I have grafted or the mother. They are variable.

Red, narrow and phf1 coming into flower. And yeah, worked out on an average of 300 seeds per gram.

I sowed some last fortnight. Sprinkled 2012 seed simply upon the surface. Not buried. Put outside and let the rain do its thing. Now it looks like a crop of wheat just with dicots not monocots and that's only 2 weeks later.

Guess I may as well just bump this thread. And I'll take 10% off the prices. I'm happy to send anywhere. It is up to you to check your local import laws.
