From what I can remember many opened during the day and stayed open all day. Yeah I believe we are both in the same city. I have a heap of pics I took last year as they were my first Trich flowers and they are mostly during the day.

My Trichs that flowered last year were all open during the day. I remember one 43 plus degree day fried some of the flowers. Getafix

Wish I knew EG. A batch of seedlings that came from Tripsis. I know id is impossible just wanted to throw it out there and see what people thought. My opinion is the plant is the wrong colour for Cuzco. Quite a pale green of the Terscheckii shade. Cuzco x Peru would produce a similar colour plant. No fading of the spines either in older growth. Phoot doesn't show it well but all spines very yellow/golden Getafix

Mate I'm 42 and 12 months ago had my second lot of surgery on my lower back for bulging disc's that were not coming right. I live in a degree of acceptable pain but do what I want pretty much. As above DO NOT lift weights, DO NOT start smashing core excercises. Fuck me you will be a cripple before you know it. DO NOT take stimulants( well not before excercise anyway). Do the stretches, walk a lot. Use a cross trainer. I spend 5 mornings a week on that thing.Low impact. Also good advise above about swimming. My surgeon highly recommends that. You just got to take it easy and with backs it's all about time. If it doesn't come right surgery really can help if that's where you are at but get a good doctor. A lot of doctors really don't get back issues. Getafix
