    Ayahuasca Satsanga

That sounds like a great spot for a holiday. I haven't had the chance to travel to Peru yet as I have a criminal conviction from 0.5g of cannabis from 6 years ago... Isn't it amazing how $10 worth of pot ruined my whole travelling life. From what I hear the trip is worth every cent. If I had the coin I'd be moving to Washington where they don't class pot smokers as criminals. Enjoy your trip
  2. Hi, I have had a "pedro" growing for a couple of months and was wondering if it was actually a Trichocereus Pachanoi or not. It just seems odd that it has spikes whereas my old pedro cutting I bought had no spikes at all. Here's a few photos to help with the ID.

Trichocereus pachanoi?? - San pedro ID

Ah, I just worked out what happened. The big old pedro cutting that I bought had the spines removed prior to shipping. Thx for the ID, I was fairly sure it was a pach but just wanted confirmation.
  4. Hey guys, just giving you's the heads up that the project(channel 10) will be airing a segment tonight relating to whether cannabis should be legalized. It's on channel 10 tonight at 6:00pm NSW time or 7:00pm QLD time. There is also a poll if anyone is keen. Australia really needs this especially considering the proposed federal model scheduling system.

    Byron Bay meet?

I'll be down that way again on Thursday & Friday camping & would be keen to meet-up. In fact I like it so much down that way that I want to do 2 camping trips a month. If I had the money I would by a block of land down there. For other broke people like myself camping is a great way to get out in nature and relax which is exactly what I plan on doing. Anywhere from Byron to Nimbin is AMAZING but I'm sure there are other beautiful places that I haven't yet discovered.

CBL Summer Cacti Photos [image heavy]

Wow, what an amazing cacti collection!! That was pretty much the plan for my garden until I found out about the proposed model scheduling. If it doesn't happen though the dreams I have been having lately about bridgesii's may just come true

The Project - Should cannabis be legalized

Link to the video segment: http://theprojecttv.com.au/video.htm?movideo_p=39696&movideo_m=250138'>http://theprojecttv.com.au/video.htm?movideo_p=39696&movideo_m=250138 (segment #3) And the poll: http://theprojecttv.com.au/ The poll is on the main page on the left not far from the bottom. And if it were legal I wouldn't grow it either as i would get my two 30g pouches of bud and my two 30g pouches of baccy at the same time. On the same token I have to disagree as I find Mary to be a beautiful looking girl

    Help wih two ID's please.

Haha, I made a Calea tea last night and no matter how many dreams I had they all involved cacti, in fact from what I can remember I was looking through heaps of cacti plants looking for a bridgesii. LOL at the power of the mind. All I seem to be dreaming about lately is cacti

Do you think qld should decriminalize cannabis poll

If I wanted to I could climb Mt Everest tomorrow with a 10% chance of dying while avoiding prosecution If I wanted to I could eat 100 glue sticks or inhale a 6 pack of butane cartridges or spray-paint. But no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn't have a couple of tokes of a spliff after a hard days work in QLD without being charged, convicted and classed as a criminal. So yes not only should Cannabis be decriminalized but it should NEVER have been prohibited in the first instance.

The federal model schedules are coming

So would this be a good time to destroy all my beloved cacti and other ethno plants? It is going to break my heart to have to throw out my garden. if the government forces me to end my hobby & passion then I will have to say goodbye to Australia...

    Cacti garden getting dug up!

Hi Jox, I am in SEQ and would be able to pickup cuttings/plants next Thursday. Would it be possible to have a dig around for some Bridgesii cuttings or plants?

    Best Cacti Nurseries SEQ

It was at the Browns Plains store. It would be awesome to be able to look through Paradisia's nursery or Hamilton's for that matter.

    Best Cacti Nurseries SEQ

Hey, I had a chance to go visit Wandjina Gardens yesterday. There is a wide variety of plants & cacti for sale. It is definitely worth the drive out there to see for yourself. I picked up a Myrtillocactus geometrizans & a bridgesii of unknown strain. They also had a nice Calea and a Viridis Shipibo which I couldn't say no to. I was also at Bunnings today and noticed a lonely pachanoi(I think??) which was $5 and basically had no soil left. When I got to the checkout I asked if there was some soil around to put in the pot but apparently the Bunnings garden center has no soil lol. Anyway in the end the chicky behind the counter only charged me $2 for it which I thought to myself at the time was the cacti's way of saying "thanks for saving me" . I just planted it into a 170mm pot with well draining soil. Will post pics up a little later.

    San Pedro Terminology

Hey guys, got a bit of a dumb question but it's doing my head-in so I thought I'd ask here considering the level of knowledge of the community here. My question is when referring to the San Pedro cactus is the scientific name ; *Trichocereus Pachanoi *Echinopsis pachanoi *Echinopsis Trichocereus Pachanoi Cheers-
  18. Is this book still available to purchase within Au? I could order it from the US but would rather buy locally. Maybe Koda or Wandjina gardens or even a little random shop in Nimbin has a copy for sale?? I'll be down that way soonish so if it's available I'll grab a copy then. Has to be the 3rd edition. Talk about digging an old thread up...

What did you do to your cacti today?

Just received my $20 lot of mixed cacti and potted it up. How long should I wait to give them a water??

    SAB cacti updated

I can't take it anymore!!! Will be driving down to Wandjina Gardens soon so if anyone wants to catch-up or meet I'll be there to have a looksie around the nursery. I really want to stop in at Nimbin also as I haven't had the chance to visit there yet and is on my to-do list. Also are there any other ethno nursery's or places or interest worth visiting in the area that would be of interest to the ethno community? Also need a little help IDing these little fellas I got from Bunnings yesterday
  21. Yeah, I agree. With the cost of plane tickets these days it's worth it just for the holiday. I'd love to do a South America trip one day. I wonder how much real estate over there is worth and what the currency exchange rate is like...

    My Little Collection

I just have to say your collection has become a true inspiration for me to grow some cacti from seed. You have done very well mate

    SAB cacti updated

Yeah I'd love to see a thread dedicated to the SAB nursery, not just showing cacti but the ENTIRE nursery. I will make time in the next couple of months to cruise down there and have a look. It's open to the public right?

    WTB - Salvia Venulosa

Hey guys, as the title suggests I am looking for a rare Colombian strain that goes by the name of Salvia Venulosa which is the closest relative of Salvia Divinorum minus the Salvinorin. I have a few Salvia specialists around the country looking for the Venulosa for me but without luck as of yet. I am interested in seeds, cuttings and live plants. (Must be in Australia) Thanks-
