    Also seeing as the GFC was discussed a bit earlier on I was wondering if anyone else see the sheer effin idiocy of how the economy works. I mean we spend too much and inflation fucks us over, but we be good and save and don't spend our money we go into a god dam reccession. does that seem stupid to anyone else.

    A cyber 9/11? WTF would that be exactly? The internet is already used for crime on a massive scale such as accessing bank accounts etc which he gave as an example so what once this law is passed because that already happening their gonna shut it down FFS. It would be good to see the UN grow some balls and tell the US to fuck off on this one oh but wait I forgot the UN is just the name for the USA's global government whoops.

    Given that so far the genetic addition appears to be one sided I'd say it's more likely that Neanderthal men were the ones gettin lucky as i'd imagine the child would have stayed with the mother. That's only relevant if they didn't actually live in the same camp but different camps.

    I recieved this email a couple weeks ago and must admit I'm still a bit puzzled by it. If it went to court i woulda thought it woulda been in the paper especially given it's in the same area. But why take a chance i guess spread the word just in case. As much as i would rather not LNP would get my vote before Labour atm at any level but i would vote for a decent independant first that relies on there being one though lol.

    The problem with a multi-regional hypothesis is that there is NO evidence for human evolution outside africa. Theres a very extensive fossil record in africa of our evolution but outside there is nothing. Also I don't think it was suggested anywhere that neanderthals came from africa.

    After watching half the series I second the vote for Desert Punk. I'm not big on tits but they do a fair job on asses too ;) And its fuckin' funny.

    Yes they do lol. the second half gets a bit darker and more serious but still funny as hell. They just do the sexual frustration of a hormonal 17 yr old boy so well.

    Gun type does mean shot out of a gun. It's the simplest and easiest type of nuclear bomb to develop. It gets the name gun type because it the way it works is by slamming or "shooting" one peice of enriched uranium into another thereby compressing them and hey presto bang. The reactor design the guy came up with is pretty interesting to. the article has riminded me of a letter sent into the paper the other day. This guy was in absolute hysterics about the 2 aussie physicists that developed a way to enrich uranium using lasers. He seemed convinced that terrorists were gonna get hold of the technology and make a nuke which is IMO one a very silly idea, sure i'll bet they'd like one but there is no way they will ever be able to make one.

    I really hate reading stuff like that, I mean it's good to see some politicians have the balls to stand up in parliment and say the drug war is a farce thats only made the problem worse and not one thing better. What makes me furious is reading comments by people who still think its a good idea based on nothing more than the 'drugs are evil' 1920's American rhetoric which is based on nothing more than lies in the first place. Just makes me wanna put a hole in the wall.

    Oh I can't believe I forgot this one, DESERT PUNK the absolute funniest anime I have ever seen it's an absolute crack up and perfect for when ya just wanna sit, chill and have a good fucking laugh.

    ^ As far as I was aware metho is actually mostly ethanol with a bit of methanol and sometimes other things to denature it..

     

    Actually in Australia standard metho contains absolutely NO methanol anymore, only denatonium benzoate (the bitterest substance known to man) as the denaturant and is standardly 95% ethanol and 5% water. New Zealand is one of the only countries that still uses methanol to denature ethanol for metho, however you can buy specially methylated spirits from pharmacies which is methanol denatured.

    Wow other people that like anime I didn't know you existed lol. My all time favourites are in no particular order

    Speedgrapher - what an absolute fucking masterpiece of a series

    Ghost in the shell - Haven't seen the 2nd movie yet but love this one

    Ergo Proxy - Again in my opinion another real great piece of work

    Gantz - Very violent but still ejnoyed it alot

    Neon Genesis: Evangelion - Learned to like the original ending eventually but still prefer the End of Evangelion movie for it's ending although the last line in it by Asuka is a somewhat controversial translation, read the wiki page and you'll get an idea.

    Also really enjoyed Akira, Ghost in the shell S.A.C both the series and it's movie solid state security, ikki tousen and maharomatic <- Cos a bit of fan service never hurt anyone hehe. There's alot more i'd list but i have too many titels to remember these days, guess that happens when your cousin owns an anime shop and ya get a discount haha.
