Berengar Posted May 17, 2015 (edited) Yeah, that story is a couple years old. Not everyone agrees that it's a new species, suposedly P. pseudoaztecorum is the same species and was described first. Tripsis found this species in India and brought a load of prints back and gave them away. I think this was some 5 years ago. Funny thing is, of all the hundreds of prints distributed, I think I was the first, and only one, to grow them out. I gave the rest of the print to a very skilled grower and the rest is history, now this species is common in collections thanks to him. But the point is, there is very little genetic diversity since all prints in circulation came from that one wild print. But I've been out of the game for a long time now, I don't know if there have been any further developments or grows from the rest of the wild prints.
