Amanita something?

Question

Just would like to verify if I'm identifying this correctly (I need practice)!

I found this sucker growing solitarily in my grassy back yard.

My guess so far is a destroying angel - amanita bisporigera, but I'd like to check with others more experienced that myself.

Was it ultra soft and fluffy?

edit: if you think it's an amanita and want to to the leg work to identify it this site seems really helpful, way over my head though!

It felt pretty soft and maybe fluffy? Not really the word I'd use. Delicate, rather.

As for that link: I'm sure that's a wealth of information to some, but this looks like some kind of cypher to me. I have no idea what I'm reading here -__-

I had a thought it might be a well worn Macrolepiota clelandii that's had most of the brown bits wiped away. I find them so soft it's pleasing to the touch. I've only found them around
