Yellow Climber

Recommended Posts

I found a sort of scrambling/climbing plant the other day, here in northern NSW. it has no leaves and the stems and tendrils are a yellow colour. its covered in flowers and seeds at the moment, pretty small ones (3-5mm).

was trying to id it but didn't have much luck. has anyone seen anything like this before? i only found one individual, so it could be a rare one.

any ideas?

Sounds like it could be Dodder, a common parasitic leafless sprawling climber that has small green to dark berries.

That is very faint description for anyone to comment on though.

i was thinking golden dodder, bit of a stretch without a piccy tho. grab a book on weeds at your local library and see if it matches.
