  1. I remember watching this a while back and forgot about it, thanks for posting it! Absolutely on the mark of what we need to do to save this planet.
  2. We are far from a 'Free market economy'. The only time we had a free market was in the industrial era where governments were very small. Governments saw how much money was being generated, due to very low taxes and freedoms to trade. Times then were extremely prosperous. The government wanted a large piece of that pie. Taxes increased, laws were made and the free market was stifled due to government intervention. Naturally the government grew with all this extra 'income' and here we are today. Governments are the cause of EVERYTHING bad in this world. Creating fiat currency has opened the Pandora's box of the World's woes. Wars fundamentally, CANNOT be sustained cost wise without fiat currency. There's so much that I can list about the evils of printing money....

    Sceletium and mesemb thoughts

I usually ferment mine for about a month in a shallow glass jar. After the month period I pour the contents out on to a flat pyrex dish then proceed to SLOWLY heat it from the bottom on the stove. This way I find I can control and see the drying process and make necessary heat inclination/declinations. Once it's powdered, allow to cool, then add a SMALL amount of Isopropyl alcohol to kill off anything that 'may' be present and let that dry off naturally. Using a flat blade I chop and scrape the contents and stuff is ready to go!

    Cheap/simple greenhouse ideas?

How much are you willing to spend? You can make a decent one for a few hundred that will withstand heavy wind/hail (essential IMO). Try skip diving on job sites/housing projects to get bits of 50mm x 50mm / 50mm x 75mm / 50mm x 100mm timber and nails.
  5. We are sociopathic species. It sickens me that things are only getting worse due to the clouded visions through monetary gain. That's really horrible shortly :( Was that against the Aboriginal people in Australia?
  6. Very interesting talk. He's much like Graham Hancock, evidence for different points of view against the current paradigm.
  7. All pictures taken by myself in 2013. Cenote Samula - Mexico Banff - Canada On the hike up to Larch canyon. Banff - Canada I was lucky enough to see this in Larch season. Bryce canyon - Utah
  8. I totally agree with you. I have recently been exposing myself to philosophy and psychology talks on Youtube. From the many many lectures I have watched I have realised that I was still heavily leaning on the science dogma attitude toward life, as much as I thought I wasn't. I got in to politics through philosophy, then the psychology of politics and then realised that people tend to fall into categories with or without realising it. Once I became aware of this, man, my perception of the world really hit home, in a bad way. Dreamwalker's quote summed it up: It's not peoples intention to be a certain way, it's the dogma/indoctrination that has shaped them. It's most prevalent in politics and religion, and as I have just realised, science to a certain degree. Very fascinating stuff, but a bit bleak at the same time
  9. Thanks for the input ThuderIdeal! Appreciate it mate Always welcome input to anything I post, even if you disagree and give your reasoning to why. I am going to start with the first Youtube vid then work my way through them. I have just read your signature, that is a great statement. I have just become fully aware of how stubborn and right people want to be. Even in the sciences. I think Sheldrake talked about how the constant of gravity ISN'T constant, and depending on geographical location an time of the year, it changes. Not by much, but it none the less changes. It was made constant to tie in nicely to their outcomes. Whether it was in that talk or another, I can't remember. Thanks again!

    Politics on the brain (literally).

Not a problem Dreamwalker! Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. I do love Molyneux's work, he's very meticulous with his research/evidence. What '3rd video down' do you mean? I clicked on that Thunderideal link and it's just someone's profile. I'm a bit lost sorry :D Hope the weather is treating well, I was glad for the rain! EDIT: I found it, don't worry! Thanks for the link
  13. Ever wondered what political views look like in the brain? Very fascinating study (with LOTS of evidence) showing how reasoning and evidence are overshadowed by bias and ideology. Evidence showing politics is akin to a drug, especially when opposing other views. "Each participant was wired to an electroencephalograph that recorded activity in their anterior cingulate cortex...."

Request for help repairing treasured painting

Man! I'm trying to remember, and I tried for about 2 hours yesterday trying to find it on Google, but nothing came up! My friend MAY have the book still, but I think he gave it away to a friend. He will recall the name of it though, I'll ask him now. I'll get back to ya!

I'd say you're in luck AndyAmine! I was expecting FAR worse! My friend had an Opium book, it was quite small in size, and it had that same picture in it! I like it a lot
  21. Dismissing it, no, stating a fact. Again, through government taxation he is making money. Billions to be exact. And the proof that we're the sole cause of climate change isn't 100%. Many scientists claim this just a natural part of the Earth's ebb and flow of temperature fluctuations. That's it. No 'convenience', just fact.
  22. Well the whole 'global warming' fiasco, fore-fronted by Al Gore was all part of a nice little plan to implement (and him to profit nicely from): 'Carbon Tax'. What we know is this: Where there is government, there is corruption with laws and bail-outs to protect those in the closed loop system. The idea of an anarcho-capitalist system -remember we don't KNOW anything 100% until we try something, is that without the toilet paper that is fiat currency (which is infinite) then we would use some other means of currency that HOLDS value due to scarcity. The wasteful tendencies of throwing money around would cease, as it is valuable DUE to scarcity. Anarcho-capitalists don't claim to have all the answers, but what they do know is that the current system doesn't work and is INCREDIBLY inefficient.
