    Tried smoking Dokha..Nice!

Yeah from what i've been able to find out, dokha's history comes fom shade tobacco that was taken back to the middle east about 300 years ago. This tobacco adapted to a much dryer (desert) climate and was cross bred with nicotiana rustica as early as 150 years ago. The result was a stronger tobacco well suited for the environment and dokha had arrived. I'm not sure on the whole history of it or all of the blends, this info was given to me by an irani farmer that we purchase from.

    Tried smoking Dokha..Nice!

Hey Guys, I got on here because I saw the thread about Dokha. In the interest of disclosure I own and operate EmpireDokha.com. I'm not here to fish for business (though we do send to Australia) I am here because I see myself as a sort of expert and connesieur. I have been smoking dokha since 2002 when i was still in high school and have been in love ever since. We have a close relationship with a dokha farmer in Iran who sells his dokh in UAE, he has told me almost everything i know from the varieties of tobacco used, to creating "hot" or "cold" blends ( amount of water supplied while growing and proper flush to drying....etc). Anyways I just want to help spread the knowledge of dokha and it's health benefits( i'll used this term rather loosely) when compared to other forms of tobacco. thank you for welcoming me to your community.
