i duno people i bought ipomea violcea (or how ever you spell it) mix from a store and that one came up i think it's just a diffrent color on the original morning glory

torsten, i think you should put the mandrake in full sun, that's how they usualy grow, in open fields with alot of sun, they don't grow in shoady places, atleast i never seen one grow like that

from my exprience as catha grows here like a native plants.... it's not the humidity that bothers it there are khat plants growing in places that are really humid here it's water logging usualy, plants like this need a good drainge of water and thats it, a little bit of logging and they will get root rot

they do set seeds.... if u cut up a pineapple that fully ripe u will notice tine holes within the pineapple that looks like air holes, in them are small brown seeds, they about same size and color as d. illenosis seeds only they are very very thin... and i think they are very hard to germinate

i just wanted to know what's the diffrence again between the nervosa strain and the speciosa strain and how much about of the speciosa you would have to consume theortically to be able to get the effects

well in israel u need to get gas masks... it's the law in case some one attacks and it comes in a kit... and in that kit is atropine injections... so it's an antidote to nerve gas but in the last year there was kinda a debate of changing atropine because alot of people would die from the shot, after all it's still atropine and some people are more sensitive to it and guess what they wanna change the atropine to... thc.... so i guess u don't need to grow datura incase there is a war just keep on smoking

well in israel it's true that the avrage rain falls is about 560... but that's not including desert areas(but mandrakes don't grow there any way) mandrakes grow on the whole country excpt the desert... they grow in plaaces they call in hebrew "bata" which usualy means the mid stage from an open field to a forest which means it grows in an open area with lots of space and light, and probebly drainge too....but that's officinialis, dunno about autumanalis just try not to get the ground too wet, cause it never gets like that here, excpt near creeks, and mandrakes don't grow near creeks so the trick is to give it lots of sun and not to let the ground get too wet... i think

can't sayabout autumanlis but with offcinialis, it goes dormant in summer... but it won't grow back in winter if it's really really dry on water ( i live in israel where we don't get much rain and i never seen it dormant in winter...) i would like to study autmanalis, don't think it grown around here mandrakes are cool plants

well from my exprience if it's starting to die off (and not cause of winter or somthing like that) then it should open up soon and the seeds inside are already viable.... about the catha u can smoke it, youll get results but not as much with chewing it cause the main subtance is cathonine which is very unstable and decomposes in high temprature (it decomposes from dead leaves in about 48 hours)
