Just use vinegar or you can buy dilute phosphoric acid. You can buy it from beer homebrew stores and it is food safe. You will only need a small amount and even 1 drop of the acid can significantly change the ph. If you are growing what I think you might be growing then don't use any ferts or aquarium products just acidify your water and check your soil ph and EC.

More than a boycott is needed. When you go to a service stattion you are not filling up with BP petrol or Shell petrol, etc. Oil companies use refiners and on-sellers were everything ends up getting mixed. Citizens need to pressure their governments to give oil companies a kick in the arse.

Thorium is still a radioactive substance and that fact will likely scare people/voters. Nuclear power plants have proved to be very safe but are still heavily resisted by green groups. Nuclear power is the primary source of electricity in France but next door in Germany a decision by the Social Democrats together with the Greens(when they were in power) was made to phase it out. Now that they are out of power and some sense has returned, there may be moves to construct more plants. A good start might be with Thorium based power generation.

I'm sorry Nabraxas, but all you have is a pretty graph that does not even account for 1% of 1% of earth's history. There has NOT been 130 years of temperature readings across the globe. Satellite readings only started in the late 70's. Many land/city temperatures readings have been made null by Urban Heat Island effect. Legba's efforts to show ocean temps carry more credibility - but how accurate are readings over such vast timelines.. Calling someone a denier is simply name calling an not conducive to any real scientific discussion. I think everyone would agree that Earth goes through cycles of heating and cooling, but it is climate scientists who are profiting (just like oil companies) by pushing a certain agenda.
