Would appreciate some suggestions/advice on this:
My 4+ yr old iboga had to be moved to a new location, its still in its home - the ibogrow, a box we made with lights, reservoir/pump, heat, etc...it got stressed, was cold for a few nights cause a lamp burned out and it took me 2 weeks to get it rep;laced and started dropping leaves and getting yellow/pale, heat/light problem is now fixed, but then i noticed it was rootbound and transplanted it into a new pot, added new soil (but perhaps not enough course granite sand for drainage...), have been misting it everyday, temp is now good, humidity good but it is showing yellow dots on the leaves. it now has these spots on 2/3 of the leaves. its not mites, not fungus, i have noticed a few gnats lately (buggers!) but they've never caused this kind of damage before so I am inclined to think it might be one of the following issues:
soil: i bought a new tropical plant soil - nothing special - can't remember nutrient content but will try to find the bag and post here
water: it may not have enough drainage now cause i don't think i added enough new coarse granite sand
burn: because the plant is now in a bigger pot it is now also taller and closer to the lights, i make sure not to mist it directly under the stronger light but could the water on the leaves under the fluorescent grow bulbs be burning and causing the spots?
nutrients: haven't changed the nutrients at all but perhaps there is some deficiency? not sure what could cause yellow dots...
i will post a pic soon, but in the meantime if it seems like anything obvious, please lemme know.
thanks.
