Jessie, kinnickinnick/bearberry = Uva Ursi "Kinnikinnik is an Native American word for smoking mixture. It is true they smoked Kinnikinnik (the plant), but usually the "Kinnikinnik" they smoked also contained willow bark and other ingredients. Sometimes it did not even contain Bearberry. This confused some of the ethnobotanists cataloging their herb usage, so be aware of this when reading "Indian Uses for Herbs" type books." - from 'Herbal Smoking Mixtures' by Howie Brounstein Among the other herbs used were mullein, white willow and dogwood. I used the kinnickinnick from Basement Shaman.

    >>not sure why you think it is sticky. It >>does get a bit tarry once its lit. Yeh, that's what i meant Desert Scullcap = Scutellaria Galericulata, i think. I've heard that Blue Scullcap = Scutellaria Antirrhinoides is very potent.

    Blue Lotus Webstore Query

Hey i liked your savia 5x, Torsten . It's a bit sticky but sold at a bloody good price! It'll be great to see more extracts from you when you return as they are a lot better functional that way! I expect they're quite popular too. How comes you never see a dry scullcap extract?...desert scullcap extract would be the dogs...!

Last time I smoked salvia 5x (the one from s. australis), i smoked a joint of a traditional kinnick kinnick blend beforehand, which seemed to approximately double the potency of the salvia. The effects weren't exactly pleasent but that might have just been due to the comaratively high dose of salvia i had.

    Sceletium

Hey Torsten, Have you thought about cultivating Sceletium Tortuosum? I gather that is is quite a rare plant and have seen it for sale on the web, albeit at high prices. Its effects are nice though, - warm, empathogenic - not unlike ecstacy, just not as intense. plur

    Acorus Gramineus & Siberian Ginseng

Does anyone know whether Acorus Gramineus has the same effect upon you as Acorus Calamus? How carcinogenic is it, relative to Calamus? Also what decent effects can i expect, and at what dosage, of Siberian Ginseng? cheers

    waka kava

i got a fair buzz from 1g of kava containing 65% kava pyrones, rubed on my gums. i was told that it is the kava pyrones and not the lactones that give you the buzz.
