It's shade grown and much thinner than my larger pachycereus pringlei specimens, but I guess the shade could have caused this. The spination during the growing season is bright pink. Crown is 4-5" in diameter. It was given to me last year and I've kept growing it in shade as it was before.

I believe it's a copiapoa grandiflora. I got it long before taxonomy was on my mind and have since lost the name.

Ferocactus of some kind. Not 100% on what species though. Got it as payment for helping a fellow gardener.

It's an awesome specimen for sure. I'm quite pleased when I come out of a deal with cacti rather than cash.

Got all my non-trichs and a few rooting trichs into the greenhouse for the winter.
