I wonder if this kind of thing would still be happening if the number of states in the US that had approved medical marijuana laws jumped from 20, to 30 or 40 or more, or the 2 that legalized it for recreational use recently increased as well... the federal government says one thing, and does the opposite. i reckon once most of the US states legalize it in one way or another, the feds would step in with some kind of martial law, i think that's already happening in some states (based on other non-drug related issues), hell I'd be willing to bet they'd start a civil war just to stop it from ever becoming legalized federally, they seem hell bent on keeping the war on drugs going indefinetly
