Hey guys here in south-east QLD we have had some serious heavy rainfall the past week or two. Wondering if the heavy rain combined with the temps starting to heat up could trigger the start of the cube season? Has anybody else along the NSW far north coast got any action yet? Driving home today I passed a small paddock with some cows in it that I previously hadn't even realised was there (this being the gold coast and all it's pretty rare to see some cow farmers). I was just curious exactly how others ask for permission to have a peruse of their paddocks? I'm obviously not some idiot looking for a quick high but am afraid that because I'm quite young my appearance may come off as such. Any advice? If anything comes of it I'll be sure to post some photos and possibly grab a spore print or 3. EDIT: Would you look at that 100 posts

Yeah sheather the mage's guild was the first quest chain I did, but you really should try out the theives guild. Quest chain is quite fun and interesting and took my at least 5 hours of playtime.

Seriously? I can't believe a government could get away with something like this? It almost doesn't seem real.

Nice sheather i'm only on 2 so far. Do you know if you obtain all of them during quest lines or are there some where you have to just find a dungeon and go in?

Observe the conditions in which the fungi you want to grow, grows. And then re-create these conditions as best you can.

Marasmius elegans? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marasmius_elegans not 100% sure... Have found a few references to growing in both pine and eucalypt forrests. Does the cap feel velvet-y?

Darkspark I'm working my way through the thieves guild stuff now, and though it isnt exactly 'challenging' it is still quit a lot of fun and i enjoy it. On the note of them removing a lot of the agility, strength, etc. The game still plays quite similiar to if they were still in there. Its just got rid of a bit of redundancies. I can understand why you'd miss it if you wanted to hardcore role-play but imo its a change for the better. And they more than make up for it with the new way perks work :D Oh and i met a character named Torsten today!

I'm addicted hardcore to skyrim. Was so devastated that when it first came out i was still moving house and had the wait to get everything set up to play it. I do think i've caught up fairly well though, level 27 dark elf, focusing mostly destruction magic and sneak. Does anybody else have problems dumping their money? i'm sitting on almost 30k and it always seems to be increasing. Even when i make sure to get some sort of training 5 times every level. Does anybody have 100 smithing yet for the dragon armour?

Not to be doubting you jamison but after several mis-identifications in the mycology I.D. forum, how sure are you that these are the species you say? -
Hey and welcome to the community I'm James too :D Not sure if you know but i'll let you know just in case. Some cacti are specifically illegal in QLD so be careful what you start growing if you're getting into cacti.

My mother used to do admin type stuff out at the local tip. You know how there's those little perks behind every job? Well with hers she could have anything from the tip shop for 0 cost. Next time i head home for a visit i'll take a few photos of our shed for you guys. I know a lot of you will love it. The car can't fit in and there's litterally stuff hanging from the ceiling. Heck half of our plates and bowls are from the tip shop. The real good stuff gets snatched up before 'the public' even gets a chance. ;)

This is possibly the least thought out thing i've ever read on this forum. The theory of music is a way for us to understand how it all fits together and how to make the most of various instruments. Ever feel the need to play a nice C cord but wanted it higher up than how you learnt to fret a 'usual' C? If you know your theory you'll have no problem. Theory controls music about as much as science controls the universe, it doesn't! It's there to help us understand it, and represent what we know and have learnt. As for seth's point about tabs, they are great for beginners. Look up a program called Guitar Pro 5 and grab the resective files to open with it from This Website Great thing about this program compared to just tabs is that you can play along with the song, and you can see the relation between the musical notation on the staves and the tabs. EDIT: Ugh thunder beat me to the guitar pro punch. Damn this typing out whole posts with 1 hand thing T.T

I've been playing guitar and bass for years now and am a bit devastated that i broke my hand last night and wont be able to play for 4+ weeks. Tips for beginners; - Always try to fret notes and cords with the very tips of your fingers, not the pads. This often gives a far better tone and once you practice it (it'll probably be hard at first) it will make everything a lot easier. - Try and make sure that your thumb on the back of the neck is in between your 2nd and 3rd finger. - Learn how to alternate pick from the start as its easy to pick up from the start but if you get into bad habits they die hard. - LEARN YOUR MUSICAL THEORY! This last one cannot be stressed enough. Sure if you don't you may be able to play songs, but learning the scales, and how they interact will not only make you a better and more competent player but in my opinion makes the whole experience a lot more fun. Also santiago I have a good quality bass + amp I'd sell to you if you're interested. PM me if you want to know more.
