Dried flowers of Brugmansias are powdered and mixed with some fine saw dust and charcoal. A couple of drops of essential oil are added (flavour of choice) and a little Potassium nitrate (to keep them burning). To make them hold together you can either use arrow root or methylcellulose. Not as easy as it sounds....
they can take any shape I mould them into and they smell like the oil when cold, but have an overwhelming smell of pot when burning ;-)
It's a pity that the actual aroma of the flowers can't be fixed as this would be very special. I used to keep a flowering brugmansia in my bedroom to liven up my dreams ;-)
These cones are dangerous to handle as the active principles can be absorbed through the skin and the quantities are high enough to do a lot of damage to several people. I will probably be taking them off the site soon anyway as new legislation is about to be passed in regards to Brugmansias and Datura.

: Could someone, (Torsten?), explain how these "shaman power" incense cones are prepared, what they look like, fragrance?

: Thanks.
