Seasonal variation in alkaloid levels of Acacia

Recommended Posts

I've heard that the highest alkaloid levels in acacia generally occur during the peak of the growing season when there is plenty of water (ie. levels are low during long periods of drought such as during summer in the temporate areas and winter in the tropics and subtropics.

I am not saying that there aren't useful strains out there but I am yet to see worthwhile amounts of alkaloids from maidenii.

I think that narrowing it down to a season is difficult as there are to many other variabes. Age, health, location and strain.
