Thats a real nice lookin Trich!

The notches make me think its T. thelogonus or a related species, as ferret said. (i.e. 'horizontal' kind of notches between the areoles, rather than a V notch just above an areole as seen on T. chiloensis.)

But thats just a stab in the dark as I'm no expert in such matters of Trich ID. Especially when it comes to more obscure ones.

EDIT: Looking in a couple of books I have, it appears that T. thelogonus has more pointed flower petals than other trichs. So if it ends up having fairly pointy petals that supports the thelogonus ID. In contrast to chiloensis and other trichs which appear to have a more rounded 'feather' looking petal. Some links I found online:

Thelogonus flower:

Chiloensis flower (can't tell if they've got the ID right though):

The trailing along the ground thing also fits with thelogonus.
