Prophet
Would pleurotus pulmonarius grow in casuarina trees? because there was this casuarina tree not far from our place which appeared to have oyster mushrooms of some species growing on it. They looked alot like pulmonarius. They were large and white but by the time i got to them they were starting to break down and were kinda getting sloppy. They had a kinda spicy/sour taste raw but pleasant none the less. I didn't swallow any, because i wasn't sure what they were at the time. This was in autumn, i went back there the otherday but no sign of them. Hope they will fruit again next year.
