Torsten Posted June 12, 2005 I've compiled a list of books I recommend as essential and further reading for ethnobotany. You can find them listed in our webstore with direct links to amazon.com. This is primarily a help for newbies, but I will expand the section for more specialised fields as well. For the moment I have listed mostly amazon books, but will also list some from other booksellers where appropriate. Admittedly amazon gives us a small percentage which other booksellers won't, but I think reading lists are an important way to promote research and general interest in this community. Most books have good info on the amazon site, but I will try and put up some reviews for those that don't. Feel free to send me reviews of books you've read or even just suggestions for the list. Mind you, I won't list them unless/until I have read them myself, or unless they come with a review from someone I feel confident about assessing them.
