Starward
I traded for two craft LW. I am however unsure how to water, nutrition and care of crafted LW. The root stock are Tricho. The question is do I feed it like its a tricho, or do I feed it like a LW. I can feed my tricho tons of water and fertilizer and it will go from strength to strength. My un-grafted peyote, I care for by neglect. No fertilizers, No water for moths unless it is above 25ºc. What way do I go?
wachumacallit
I had a grafted LW on a Tricho base that *looked* like a perfect specimen. But it was rotting from the inside out. Since then, I withhold water from my grafted specimens. I seldom feed or water any of my cactus plants.

Wood Chuck
This is the first time in many years, I have had a grafted LW on tricho base outside in the weather for about a year. No rot, but 4 of the 12 pups split (just wanted to see what would happen). Usually I am modest with watering and fertilizer and it is under cover, a non grafted LW that is under cover (veranda), I very rarely water and don`t think I have ever fertilized.
