Hi

Found these in the yard yesterday and never seem them before.  Granted, we've had more rain in the last three days than, perhaps...ever.  But still.  Not necessarily chasing an ID, just posting because I think they look kinda cool and I'd not seen them previously.  I am absolutely no expert, but I'm wondering if they are some type of puffball given the deflated "sac" thing in the middle?  There are three in almost a diagonal line, two opened and one unopened in the middle.

Nice find, these are Geastrum sp. aka Earth stars. They are very similar to puffballs for sure
