0 thegreatartist Posted November 9, 2020 I'd say yes, that is Trichocereus Bridgesii (agree it looks like it has some pach traits too). It looks a lot like Slizes' "playa Bonita" or "hotel" cuttings. Do you have any more info you want to share about these?
0 fyzygy Posted December 9, 2020 According to my source, originally purchased as "fat bridgesii" in Melbourne, about 10 years ago. I only recently acquired a cutting. I don't think it's really bridgesii, based on the large number of ribs. The tip I loosely planted (must be around 20cm diameter!) has sprouted about a dozen flower pups, instead of roots. What a bizarre, beautiful alien!
0 fyzygy Posted February 26, 2021 Melbourne, and more specifically: Fitzroy. Ring any bells?
0 sharxx101 Posted April 21, 2021 (edited) Looks like fields short spine bridgesii in the first pic. Edited April 21, 2021 by sharxx101
0 fyzygy Posted January 7, 2022 It's looking more peruvianoid by the day ... (except the pup in the small terracotta pot, which reminds me more of classic bridgesii).
