Evisa Posted April 25, 2019 Hello, I got this cactus last year and I cannot find its name. Anyone? Thank you!
0 Evil Genius Posted April 25, 2019 It's a Ferocactus. Could be Ferocactus glaucus, but not entirely sure which one it is.
0 Evil Genius Posted April 25, 2019 Sorry, discussing ingestion of cacti isn't allowed here.
0 Evisa Posted April 25, 2019 I have done some more research and it looks more like Gymnocalycium type. Maybe a variety of Gymnocalycium Oenanthemum. However, I cannot find a picture of one that looks exactly the same. Thank you for your help anyway!
0 Evil Genius Posted April 25, 2019 Nope, it is definitely a Ferocactus. Google Images is a very bad tool to identify cacti. This rib structure is only present on Ferocactus and Gymnocalycium look totally different at this size.
0 Evisa Posted April 26, 2019 Hey again, I found those two cacti in a shop: Probably "Echinopsis" but which variety. The first looks like an "Echinopsis Lageniformis" I am not sure about the second.
0 Evil Genius Posted April 26, 2019 First one is a Myrtillocactus geometrizans and the second one is a Trichocereus terscheckii.
