Recommended Posts

I concur that Helon, cordobensis and super pedro (and scop) are indeed different plants and are quite distinguishable.

Yeah me too. I have them all and have no trouble telling them apart. None whatsoever. They're definitely not the same clone.

There is SA ss 1 and SA ss 2

some people call SA ss 2 a validus

this summer i will have all the aus plants that are called validus dna tested, using the fields shed plant as the control, this may determine what is a validus and what isnt.

Added some new clones

Waiting for @Torsten to fix the html code input problem so I can upload the table of clone info. Would be cool if we could devote a subforum to clones, listing each with info and photos? I know there are some clones on trichocereus.net named clone database but it's far from complete

Why has Pach "Capel" been taken off the list? Mines hit beast mode. The seedling X's are strong growers as well.

Re-added. Unsure why it was removed

How about adding Peruviana 'KK338'

KK numbers are only area collection/locality numbers, are they not?

If there is a clone(s) with a KK prefix then I will add

Actually, excuse my ignorance, but I don't even know what that means.

Well, KK339 is a clone that's been propagated from cuttings of one unique individual trichocereus pachanoi in horticulture. KK338 has not to my knowledge been distributed as cutting material very widely and Karel Knižes' collection numbers often refers to different plants in a specific area and not material from one geneticaly identical clone. I've seen so many different seedgrown types of KK338, KK339 and KK242. In europe most of the KK242 are a type of very glaucous T. Cuzcoensis.

A very good idea to put together a list. Here are some clones circulating  europe, thought they might be available in Aus too?

Trichocereus Pachanoi/Bridgesii "super silver blue form" a very glaucus thin pach/bridge cross sold as cuttings.

Trichocereus Bridgesii "Hotel" Not very much info on this.

Trichocereus Pachanoi "Kimnach"

Trichocereus Pachanoi "Lima Flower Market" Collected by MT, maybe the same material as Ogun?
