Dicko Posted October 26, 2017 (edited) Hi all. Im hoping someone will have some acacias that have usable phyllodes (in a few years, not right now) in Tasmania. As i dont think live plants will get to Tassy. Id prefer to have the head start as opposed to starting seed myself Any help appreciated Thanks Edited October 26, 2017 by Dicko
waterboy 2.0 Posted October 27, 2017 Acacias haven't be high on my propagation lists past few years as I've had too much on so no strays, but I can get some seed of a few species down to you no probs, you can get tubestock out in a season for many of them, and then if you get em to ground they'll go hard. I'll add some to a seed care pack that's on the cards. * cough* If packed well they'd get in *cough*

sabviewer Posted October 27, 2017 Don't necessarily rule out starting from seed. I've got some 3 month old floribunda, coincidentally from Tas sourced seed, that's growing quite quickly.
