Gimli
Seed pods are starting to appear on our plantation trees and I have bags on the way so I can save a bloody tonne of seed. I will start off with 10 lots, but I have no doubt there will be enough to do many more mailouts. Thread will be updated when seed are ready to go into a big red box with auspost written on it. It will be a giveaway, but if anyone feels generous enough to want to send some tricho seeds in return - I will be more than happy to accept Post to AUS only. And go! Drildo
Gimli, how long from when the green pods FIRST appear to when they're ready to harvest and seed is grown/viable? I got the feeling from someone else that obtusifolia/longifolia pods take months and months to cure but I could be massively mistaken? I will be down for some acuminata seed mate for sure, I don't have tricho seeds for trade but when the time comes I will have something else nice to slang your way.
Sallubrious
Yeah they take a few months @Skellum . Maybe they'll be ready around December.
Drildo
Oh that's not too long at all, I was worried it might of been like a 6 month process or something drawn out like that. Cheers Sal. Nice give away Gimli!

Drildo
Can I dig up soil from local longifolia/obtusifolia to use as an innoculant for raising these seeds? Do they need an acacia rhizombe, like phleb and courtii do so well with? Or maybe you should send small sealed innoculant(soil) bags too with the seeds? Mailing soil is illegal though isn't it?

Yet you've come back giving away constant shit... Im confused? lol. I'm keen for some acuminata seeds and am happy to hook u up with something from my list. Are u cranky with this crew, do u feel ripped off for not possibly receiving as much as you give away? Sorry I couldn't help you with your herbalistics agent-ing Hopefully Aus-Dream sorts you out.

Turned out I was wrong. If "to this community" counts as one person, well fuck me.
Drildo
All good mate, I didn't mean any offense, nor do I know the details of previous trades, nor is it any of my business. Again, sorry if I've caused any offense. Your give away's are certainly generous & you seem like a good bloke, keep doing what your doing brother.
Gimli
Getting there... It has come as no surprise that none of the acacia trees which are hosting sandalwood have set seed... @Torsten this probably doesn't surprise you either

Sallubrious
That's about the stage where the king parrots start to take notice of mine and move in for the free raspberry jam flavoured goodness. I have a bunch of narrow phyllode acuminata seed just about ready now if anyone wants any.I couldn't be fucked mailing out seeds though, so if anyone wants to forward them on I can send nice bag of them to spread around. Edit: sorry to hijack your thread @Gimli I'd be happy send a batch to you that could throw in with your seeds when you send them out if you want.
