Recommended Posts

Hey crew,

What are your thoughts on using jarrah compost for wood loving mushrooms? I spoke with the supplier and it is just jarrah nothing else I thought it might be a good base to mix with

yes, i have use their Jarrah mixed with Bluegum to grow Reishi & Turkey Tail. It is bagged dry so you need to soak it then bring it to field capacity before sterilizing/pasteurizing & inoculating.

I think its better to use non-composted wood for these, altho thats not necessarily so for other

fungal ventures.
