Acacia I.d

Question

Just wondering if someone could help with me an I.d please. Recently found this growing in Melbourne-northern suburbs. It has deposited a number of branches and was wondering if they are worth collecting. This is my first post and I'm still very new to this so please excuse my ignorance if I'm wayoff. Any advice appreciated.IMG_2074.thumb.JPG.dc58ba2d7a7a947d4ea45345a8d3aea8.JPGIMG_2073.thumb.JPG.957490894a3e61482e97fd465871bdb9.JPGIMG_2070.thumb.JPG.e8079669b6d4b09bcf88ec8c177ef8ec.JPGIMG_2072.thumb.JPG.adf3ec1dd664ee08212ab78fd1ba0057.JPG

Assuming it's native to the area it could be Acacia implexa. Pods and flowers together with measurements are very useful for identifications. If you look in the litter beneath large plants like this you'll often find pods from the previous season. Photos of pods & phyllodes next to a ruler or pencil are helpful.
