Looks like a cereus of some sort.

Yeah it's a cereus mate. If it were a dehydrated Pachanoi, it would be all wrinkly and soft to be that skinny.

Cereus. Haven't tried grafting with them but i hear they are good. They also make handsome landscaping plants when large.
