most of you probably already know of this site but ive found it really useful for planning and seeing when things grow best instead of relying on online planting calendars, you just have to put in your latitude and it will tell you how many hours of light to expect on that day

That's pretty neat. 

 

This one is also cool: http://www.suncalc.org/

 

Computes the position and elevation of the sun at a particular place, date and time of day. Can be useful if want to find out how much sun a particular spot will get, to a rough guess... B)
