Could anyone please help ID this common native?

Hey guys, a cactus guy and am no good with IDing other species. I've been walking and trying to get my head around it but I can't figure out what this one is.

Found in South East Melbourne.

looks like A.melanoxylon to my eye and all the good seeds have been dropped... I am no acacia wizard though.
