0 Conv3rgence Posted March 22, 2016 Lol what? Growing in the roof gutter??? That guy deserves some love, what a survivor. That twisted trunk is a testament to his will to live. Hope he grows up into a unique specimen.
0 Evil Genius Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) Those are all very interesting. The first one is a cereus. The second one a Peruvianus. The other ones need to be examined more closely. I love them all. The fourth reminds me of some of the spinier versions of Tr. riomizquensis. Great plants! Edited March 22, 2016 by Evil Genius

The fourth reminds me of some of the spinier versions of Tr. riomizquensis. Great plants! Thanks EG, 4 & 5 are on my dads property a few hours away but I'll bump this when i get more/better pics. Theres about 5 that were all similar but different spine length, suppose to be Pach, Peru and or Bridgesii. I didn't post the Pach as it appeared obvious. possibly an open pollinated mix? I'll post better pics of 3 soon (when I get home in daylight,) Theres another four or five with the same spination as 3 but they are blueish. I'll get some of those for reference perhaps. Thanks again
0 Snowfella Posted April 1, 2016 Think I might have an identical plant to #1, never really figured out what it is but by god it's got some serious spines!

The bulbous top at that age seems characteristic too. was good to find another unknown (for me) that I really enjoy .-) Cheers
0 AbleKay Posted July 27, 2016 Just checking that this is a Bridgesii? Pretty certain but a friend that has offered this to me says he got it from Bunnings years ago, hence my (small) doubt. And it does look very green, could just be the pic though... cheers

This one teaches that it's not so important where you grow up, or if you're not the most handsome creature in the world. What matters is that eventually someone loves you and gives you some nice pot. To grow in.
