That's sad about Sam, dogs are the best people.

Sophie and Sam are now together again, happy that they were loved and cared for while they were here.

Warm fires to sit by, rides in the car, full bowls of food n heaps of cuddles, sleep well Sam.

Nice thread WB, looks like your keeping busy. Just walked past the feijoas put out few months back and she's turned up her toes on me. I'll have to try again with a bit more care.

Thanks folks. Nothing ticks forever.

On the feijoas mushfun, I've lost a few before (more than I'll admit too  ). I think they are really temperamental for the first two years. If you can them happy over that time, you can lay off the love and forget them and they will thrive then.

Might be something to do with rootsize (?). I dont think its the cold, or even when in shit, heavy clay (which they will love).

I do throw frost cloth over small ones now though, and the do like that.

Thanks mate,

lol...yeah Ruby is very much a "pat me, pat me please, pat me more" kinda dog.

I dont use anything fancy, its just a Nikon Coolpix (not sure exact model at moment 20.1MP).

its small enough to go into a pocket as a daily carry and robust enough not to get broken in the process, wasnt much over a $120 -140 if i recall right from Hardley Normal.

I picked one up for myself as it was one of the few cameras that survived the abuses of field work....lol...I destoyed a lot of cameras with clay, rocks and big drops

I'm scared to  go near the digital SLR here, the mrs would have me if I destroy it....lol...which would be most likely...

And I am not really authorised to use it:lol:
