Hukstable Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) Will be adding this guy to the collection tomorrow. Very sexy. Is this a recognized Australian clone? Peru? Pachanoi? Will post more pics when I get it. 0 Hukstable Posted July 2, 2015 Thanks interbeing! Does it look like your short spines Peru?
0 interbeing Posted July 2, 2015 (edited) I see some similarities, it looks more on the pachanoi side to me. Does it have longer spines at the base? Edited July 2, 2015 by interbeing

0 NoEyeballs Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) Awesome cuts, got 150cm of this myself along with some psycho0 and what he thinks might be Eileen. Not exactly sure on genetics but I've just been calling it a pacharu Edited August 1, 2015 by thesleepygoat
0 pinegapcontrol Posted August 6, 2015 after receiving a cut of this ive got to say my opinion is that this is the same strain that they have growing at collectors corner in the show garden, the huge variegated specimen. I dont know if it has a clone name, but they sell it as peruvianus. its the one they sell variegates of on ebay. of course i could be wrong, just my 2 cents. 0 Hukstable Posted August 6, 2015 I'm unsure, here is a comparison. If anyone has a collectors corner Peru that would be nice to see.
0 Hukstable Posted August 6, 2015 Damn iPhone! Why does it rotate?
0 pinegapcontrol Posted August 6, 2015 that dont look right, maybe im just retarded, maybe they have a different strain also. id be keen to see a pic of the big one though.

0 gerbil Posted August 6, 2015 I think it looks like the peruvianus YT sourced around '05 (from mother plants in south aus i assume) on bottom of pg 16 and top of 17 in the cactus gallery. If the person selling this was on the forums or still is, it may be worth asking them who they sourced it from, or looking for their posts to solidify information instead of flying blind. 0 pinegapcontrol Posted August 6, 2015 yeah write me off for ID's, im shit lol. it was the first thing i thought when i pulled it out of the box, maybe thats clouded my judgement.
