My Stone Cacti Garden

Recommended Posts

Let me be the first to say that is fucking awesome and it only going to get better with time. What exactly does your soul mix comprise of? Can't wait till I have the resources to do something similar. Good job mate! I can't make out in the photos, what are the columnar cacti you have there?

Fan bludy tastic mate! I love what you've done. Well organised and layed out. Can't wait to see it in a few years

Double thumbs up!

Edit: those barrels are amazing! And the spiralled rock wall,,, I could stand there for days admiring it all.

For the path i was thinking railway sleepers but the price is excessive. So i have just pulled down my old hardwood fence and it looks nice and rustic. So i will lay down some joists and run them on top. Would you believe those big barrels were at a friends house she was leasing, and wanted them gone, as for kids, and the landlord said she could get rid of them so i generously help them out :lol:post-16313-0-53562700-1431647944_thumb.j

My only tip is, for a better look place your rocks in, with desirable face to the front and wedge rocks behind to keep in place. Just throwing them in is quick, but you end up with large voids. It is a patience game :BANGHEAD2:

I will be honest. My gabion is not going to look near as perfect as yours. I have 9m x 1500x800mm to do abd I have a time problem. I already told boss I'm not stacking them:)

I won't show her your pictures.
