Getafix
In love with this plant.Anyone got a Bridgesii with longer spines than this baby, 100mm!!When I was gratefully gifted this plant it was a spineless cut that was terribly etiolated. A beer can size base to the cut but then had etiolated to the size of a texta. I didn't actually know what type of trich it was but had a feeling it was something special. Cut the etiolated top out of it, rooted the little stump and 3 years later I have this beautiful Bridg.Getafix

Getafix
Looks a lot like Psycho0, niceCould well be. Wasn't given a name with it.My other Pyscho0's are open pollinated and there are certainly differences so I wasn't sure if this was a named cloneCheers Edited April 23, 2015 by Getafix

Strontium Dawg
Mine have some spines maybe close to 10cm but that one is certainly on the defensive!
theuserformallyknownasd00d
My votes on psycho0 too, but mine grows the amount yours did in 3 years in 6mths so maybe it isn't?
Getafix
My votes on psycho0 too, but mine grows the amount yours did in 3 years in 6mths so maybe it isn't?Remember it was a tiny stump that took months to root and has since grown four arms (one cut off) so has grown app. 3 metres of new growth in 3 years. A metre a year is reasonable I would have thought

zed240
In love with this plant!Anyone got a Bridgesii with longer spines than this baby, 100mm!!Yeah, it is beautiful. I too think it's psycho0 and mine also have the massive spines on the bottom and middle of columns. It's no wonder so many people have it as its quick and a looker! They grow so blue and nice wherever they are in my garden, as I've ended up with a few around. But to your other question, I have a "Con" with 12cm spines!
