Fenris Posted February 4, 2015 I have a work laptop running windows 8 with a W7 shell because I don't like W8. When setting up W8 it demanded a linked e-mail and I put in my password for my hotmail, now when I log into my computer, the password is whatever my hotmail password is. I tried changing my hotmail password from home and couldn't log in to my work laptop in the morning until I used the new password. How do I unlink this? I have a feeling that I am going to bail on this job in the not too distant future, they will obviously need the laptop back. If I change my password on hotmail after I leave, my employer won't be able to get into the computer. Any ideas? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Distracted Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) You have to unlink your microsoft live account from your windows 8 login account.
