Wow $975 for that variegate, and it wasn't even "blessed" by an Inca Godess.

Lmfao that news article bardo, Aussie tricho markets are a bubble!

For real though, never seen these kind of prices on european ebay, last time I saw a comparable cut it was a variegated pachanoi "Saquarema", a good sized beautiful cut, and it went for around 170€.

As far as hefty price tag though, right now there's these gorgeous loph crests I'm drooling over :drool2: :

They are pretty amazing that's for sure, a real stand out. I wonder about that pink/red colour on that first one, looks different to sunburn i have seen ? maybe there was a button growing in the centre that was removed and the area that is red was newly exposed to light causing a bit of burning ? Meh i don't know but i agree they are gorgeous : )

It's a trap. You go to pickup point with your $1500 and BAM! you get mugged, tied up and sharted on. -Happens all the time to unsuspecting cashed-up lunatics like myself.

It's a bad world people...

that guy says he's grown that beast to that size in 7 years from a small button.

Seems fast. Does that seem right to those in the know?

why do people uproot their plants before they have even sold it? just to take a photo.  annoys the shit out of me when people do that, i will never buy a plant if it's soil-less in the photo, who knows how long it's going to be sitting around with it's roots desiccating & then sit in the post too.  if you're going to post bare root plants, up-root it just before posting.. sheesh

Responding to myself - seems plausible if the button was already 4 years old or so:

+1. $1500 is an extremely ambitious price, even a third of that would be pushing it (IMO). This seems like a sketchy one.
