BAO, did you have trouble with dormancy? I haven't had any luck getting this species to germinate even with the hot water treatment. I'd like to try some GA3 on them but have only found wholesale suppliers of the stuff who sell in quantities of a gram or more, which is expensive and more than I would need. Some commercial hydroponic solutions contain a trace of the stuff but come with many unwanted ingredients. Does anyone know where to get small quantities of pure GA3?

Have you tried light? This plant is like the poppies, often growing on disturbed ground after many years dormancy. Light destroys the germination inhibitors.

In witchy circles henbane is also called Devils Eye. You can find it dry in most witchy stores.

Thanks for the suggestion theobromos. I'm going to try leaving half in the fridge for the next 2 months as well to see if it makes any difference.

Hi,

My seeds germinate quite well , I just put them on the surface of the soil (well draining soil is important) , then I barely cover the seeds.

It takes 1 week for them to sprout.

I think that these seeds can't be stored for a long time , or perhaps that after a while the seeds go into dormancy and you have to break it ; putting them in the fridge might work.
