Hi Getafix, looks like a very typical Scop FR 991! Surprised that the Genes of the Sausage Plant didn´t come through stronger. Beautiful Plants!

EG I have to agree but I bought these as tiny seedlings from a trusted member so I must assume they are what they are labelled.

I agree they look like lovely Scops to me too.

Well, you never know how a Cross turns out so I have no doubts that they are what they are labeled as. Just a Cross with a very dominant Mother.

dont you mean dominant father?

sausage x scop would indicate scop being the pollen donor?

With the apparent dominance of scops spination traits it would be interesting to cross it with bridgesii and repeatedly backcross with bridgesii while selecting for no spines. A blue spineless bridgesii would just be awesome.

A glaucus bridge i call helen is nearly there, exhibiting only a single spine per aerole if any at all.
