Lol. A mexican fence post cactus is a rare specimen. Hehehe. Ooookay... Sounds like propaganda myths started by the government to stop illegal importation.

Copao

Eulychnia acida

fruit harvest period in January, annual mean temperature of 14 °C and an average relative humidity of around 80%, Mean rainfall in the region during 2008 and 2009 was 125 - 61 mm, green and pink peel fruits.

the one below set to show the plantations of them grown on desert/marginal land, but its in Spanish , so you may wish to just skip to the pics, masses of spines on these cacti 200 - 300mm long, which I guess harvest the dew.

☽Ţ ҉ĥϋηϠ₡яღ☯ॐ€ðяئॐ♡Pϟiℓℴϟℴ, in the video labeled Cactus collection 2012, at 5:28. What is that cactus (?) in the pot?

I see it around a lot but have never come across it for sale or with a name attached.

If anyone knows that would be amazing.

Great videos, always enjoy looking at advanced gardens.
